Live Testing: Bug Fixed This Week!

Glad to announce the next release of Live-Interactive Testing with some major bug fixes for this week! 🐞

FIXES

  • One of our customers reported an issue with connecting WonderProxy via tunnel while performing Localization testing. This issue has been fixed. 
  • The issue with the deleted tests remains in the Recent tab on the LambdaTest Dashboard has been fixed now.
  • Another issue we noticed is with the launching of the chatbox. Additionally, for a new user, the chatbox pop-up was not opening automatically. This issue has been fixed.
  • The Mark As Bug feature wasn't working in Gallery in Realtime Native App Testing. This issue has been resolved.
  • The wrong app was installing after switching the device in Realtime Native App Testing. This bug has been fixed.
  • The user reported an issue with the generated screenshot on macOS High Sierra with Firefox 90. The generated screenshot was trimmed from the right side. This issue has been fixed.
  • On changing the geolocation in iOS simulator app testing, an error is thrown - 400 Bad Request. This issue has now been fixed.
  • The Geolocation testing on Chromium & Firefox browsers wasn't working on iPhone11 Pro with platform version iOS 13.5. This issue has been resolved.
  • An issue we noticed is with the popping up of chatbox inside the real time virtual machines. It was hindering the user from clicking inside the website. Glad to announce that this issue has been fixed completely.

Bug Fixes

  • The user reported an error with the network:true capability. Additionally, there was an issue with the file processing while passing network:true capability. This bug has been fixed now.
  • One of the errors user has reported, on passing the null value in the build capability, the tests were failing. This issue has been fixed.  ✅
  • One of the errors we noticed, the exception logs for Opera were not visible in a few sessions. This issue has been fixed completely. ✅
  • In Microsoft Edge 18, the browser maximize issue is now resolved. Starting testing now!

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Added Error Status for Cypress Errors.

Glad to announce that we have added capability support on Android 10 emulators to capture Network HAR logs. 📶

FIXES

  • One of the users reported the mismatch of browser time with the local machine time. Additionally, the browser was fetching a different time than the local machine's location time. This issue has been fixed! 🟢
  • The user reported an error while filtering out builds from the Search in build in the Automation dashboard. The filtered builds were getting disappeared after clicking on errors for a specific build. We are pleased to inform that this bug has been fixed completely. 🟢

Here's what we've fixed in this week 👇

FIXES

  • In Smart testing, the user wasn't able to upload the baseline image. This issue has been fixed.  
  • One of the issues the user has reported is while performing screenshot testing; the screenshots were not generating on Chrome, Firefox & Safari. Happy to announce that this bug is fixed now.  
  • In real time testing, the user reported the issue with his web app whose audio wasn't playable on some mobile devices. This issue has been completely fixed.  
  • One of the errors we noticed is in native mobile app testing (beta). On saving screenshot on iPad, it was throwing an error. This bug has been fixed now.
  •  In real time mobile app testing (beta), one of the bugs we notice is; sometimes the app logs won't populate on the user interface for the app testing. This issue has been fixed.

IMPROVEMENTS 

There was some lag in the loading of Automation Analytics UI. Happy to announce that we have improved the Automation Analytics UI load time. 🚀 

FIXES

One of our users reported an issue with the mail containing the Daily automation report. Additionally, the SEE ANALYTICS button wasn't working on Outlook. This issue has been fixed now!

BUG FIXES

  • We noticed a lambda error in one of the Android devices due to automationName capability. This error has now been fixed.🟢
  • One of the errors we noticed is the inconsistent behavior of the builds. Additionally, when the test cases get failed under the builds, it still shows a green tick. This error has now been completely fixed. 🟢

IMPROVEMENTS 

  • We have now provided alias support for the capabilities orientation and deviceOrientationBoth capabilities will be treated the same for orientation.

Bug Fixes: Real Time Testing & Screenshot Testing!

The new release of Real Time testing & Screenshot testing is out with some major improvements & bug fixes!

REAL TIME TESTING FIXES 

  • One of our users was facing a lag issue on the Samsung S21 5G (Android 11) device. This issue has now been fixed. 🟢
  • One of our users reported multiple issues with Android devices on Chrome & Firefox browsers. Additionally, the scrolling took more time, on-device rotation the device's size becomes large, & throwing the error - Google App has stopped. We are happy to announce that this issue has been completely fixed. 🟢
  • One of the issues we noticed is the Google App crash on Emulator. This issue has been fixed.🟢 
  • While trying to mark a bug from Redmine, the user was getting a Redmine error. This error has now been fixed. Now perform one-click bug logging on the go! 🚀 
  • On running the website on an emulator, the user's website was breaking. This issue has been fixed.🟢

 SCREENSHOT TESTING FIXES

  • One of the errors we noticed is the failure of Screenshot tests due to some JavaScript function error. This error has now been fixed. 🟢
  • The user's website content was not rendering on Firefox browsers when he ran Screenshot tests but it works fine with Real Time Testing. This bug is now resolved. 🟢
