Upcoming Changes: Supported Appium Versions for Real Devices

Starting June 1st, 2024, only the following versions will be compatible with real device testing. Therefore, we recommend you check and update your test scripts accordingly.

Supported Appium Versions:
  • Android: 1.21.0, 1.22.0, 1.22.3, 2.0.0, 2.1.3 and 2.2.1.
    • Default & Latest Version: 2.2.1.
  • iOS:
    • Devices running iOS 12, 13, or 14 are compatible with Appium versions 1.22.3, 2.0.0, 2.1.3, and 2.2.1.
      • Default & Latest Version: 2.2.1.
    • Devices running iOS 15, 16, or 17 are compatible with Appium versions 1.22.3, 2.0.0, 2.1.3, 2.2.1, and 2.3.0.
      • Default Version: 2.2.1.
      • Latest Version: 2.3.0.
